Preprava nebezpečných tovarov – druhá časť
Transportation of dangerous goods – part II
Klasifikácia nebezpečných tovarov, nálepky na označenie nebezpečenstva,
možné nebezpečenstvá a nevyhnutné opatrenia
Classification of dangerous goods, dangerous goods labelling,
possible dangers and necessary measures
Nebezpečné tovary sú klasifikované do nasledujúcich tried:
Trieda 1 Výbušné látky a predmety s výbušnou látkou
Látky triedy 1 môžu vyvolať explóziu výbuchu pomocou zdroja tepla
alebo nárazom. Následkom výbuchu vzniká tlaková vlna, tepelné žiarenie,
nebezpečenstvo ohňa, uvoľňovanie jedovatých plynov. Do tejto
triedy patria napr. bomby, granáty, munícia, nálože, trhaviny a pod.
zdrojov.
Trieda 2 Plyny
Látky triedy 2 predstavujú nebezpečenstvo požiaru a výbuchu. Pri úniku
látky sa vyvíja chlad a vzniká nebezpečenstvo udusenia vytlačením
vzduchu, otrava alebo poleptanie. Do tejto triedy patria napr. acetylén,
amoniak, chlór, etylén, neón, propán, bután a pod. Pri manipulácií je
potrebná opatrnosť a ochrana pred zdrojom zapálenia a ohňom.
Trieda 3 Zápalné kvapalné látky
Látky triedy 3 predstavujú nebezpečenstvo ľahkej možnosti zapálenia,
vzniku zápalných pár, vytvorenie výbušných pár a zmesí so vzduchom.
Do tejto triedy patria napr. benzín, palivá pre dieselové motory, oleje,
lepidlá, petrolej, farby a pod. Pri manipulácii je potrebná opatrnosť,
dostatočné vetranie, ochrana pred zdrojom zapálenia a ohňom.
Do tejto triedy patria napr.
naftalén, hexamín, červený fosfor a pod. Pri manipulácii je potrebná
ochrana pred zdrojom zapálenia a pred ohňom.
Trieda 4.2 Samozápalné látky
Látky triedy 4.2. zahŕňajú pyrofórne látky a látky a predmety schopné
samoohrevu.
vzduchu zapália do piatich minút. Látky a predmety schopné
samoohrevu sú bez prívodu energie pri styku so vzduchom schopné
samoohrevu.
Do tejto triedy patria napr. sadze, bavlna vlhká, aktivované uhlie, biely
alebo žltý fosfor, sulfid draselný. Pri manipulácii je potrebná ochrana
pred zdrojom zapálenia a ohňom
a spolu so vzduchom môžu vytvárať výbušné zmesi. Do tejto triedy
patria napr. vápnik, karbid vápenatý, ferrosilicium, prášok horčíka,
sodík, lítium a pod. Pri manipulácii je potrebná ochrana pred vlhkom,
zdrojom zapálenia a ohňom.
Trieda 5.1 Látky podporujúce horenie (pôsobiace oxidačne)
Látky triedy 5.1 uvoľňovaním a odovzdávaním kyslíka môžu spôsobiť
požiar alebo môžu podporiť vznik požiaru iných látok. Tieto látky môžu
Dangerous goods are classified into following classes:
Class 1 Explosives and articles with explosives
Substances of class 1 may cause blast explosion by means of heat
source or heat shock. As a consequence of blast, the pressure wave,
heat radiation, danger of fire, release of poisonous gases may occur. This
class includes e.g. bombs, garnet, ammunition, charges, blasting agents
and other. During manipulation, caution and safe distance from the
source of ignition are required.
Class 2 Gases
Substances of class 2 are liable to cause fire and blast. When such
substance is released, cold develops and the danger of suffocation by
displacement of air, poisoning or corrosion may occur. This class includes
e.g. acetylene, ammonia, chlorine, ethylene, neon, propane, butane and
other. During manipulation, caution and protection against the source of
ignition and fire are required.
Class 3 Flammable liquids
Substances of class 3 are liable to cause danger of easy ignition possibility,
formation of flammable steams, formation of explosive steams and
air mixtures. This class includes e.g. petrol, fuels for diesel engines, oils,
adhesives, kerosene, paints and other. During manipulation, caution,
sufficient air venting, protection against the source of ignition and fire are
required.
Class 4.1 Flammable solids: substances liable to spontaneous
combustion; desensitized solid explosives
Substances of class 4.1 are easy flammable solid substances, solid substances,
which can be ignited by friction; thermally unstable substances,
which can undergo a strongly exothermic decomposition even without
participation of oxygen. This class includes e.g. naphthalene, hexamethylenetetramine,
red phosphorus and other. During manipulation,
protection against the source of ignition and fire is required.
Class 4.2 Spontaneously combustible substances
Substances of class 4.2. include pyrophoric materials and self-heating
substances and articles. Pyrophoric substances are substances that,
even in small quantities and without an external ignition source, can ignite
within five (5) minutes after coming in contact with air. A self-heating
material is a material that, when in contact with air and without an energy
supply, is liable to self-heat. These materials may ignite only in larger
quantities (more kg) and after a lapse of certain period of time (hours or
days). This class includes e.g. blacks, cotton wet, activated coal, white or
yellow phosphorus, potassium sulphide. During manipulation, protection
against the source of ignition and fire is required.
Class 4.3 Substances that on contact with water emit flammable
gases
Substances of class 4.3 are substances that on contact with water emit
flammable gases and together with air, they can form explosive mixtures.
This class includes e.g. calcium, calcium carbide, ferrosilicium, magnesium
powder, sodium, lithium and other. During manipulation, damp
protection and protection against the source of ignition are required.
Class 5.1 Oxidizers
Substances of class 5.1, by releasing and yielding oxygen, may cause fire
or may support the fire break-out of other substances. These substan-
