Nikolay Alekseyevich “Micron” Yesipenko a retired civilian pilot was returning
with his wife, Luba, in their ford south of the town of Dzankoy to Simferopol. As
they passed the hamlet of Krasnogvardeyskoye, both suddenly saw a huge stooped
humanoid figure on the side of the road, probably at about 15-20 meters ahead of
them. The humanoid was very tall, about 3 or maybe 3-4 meters in height, with very
long arms that hung down to its knees. It was very dark and the figure was briefly
seen in the car headlights as it walked on a parallel course to the witnesses’ vehicle
on the right side of the road. The traffic was strangely very light at the time. Nikolay
reported seeing the figure as soon as he switched on the turn signal on his car, his
wife exclaimed, “Look, Look! Did you see that” He immediately confirmed what
she was seeing. In a couple of seconds the humanoid figure simply disappeared.
Nikolay slowed down and turned around but the figure was no longer in sight.
Shocked the couple directly home after the encounter, they reportedly did not see
any details such as clothing on the figure since it was extremely dark.

At the time that bizarre attacks to livestock attributed to dogs and coyotes were
being reported in the region one witness reported being awoken after hearing a
strange sound resembling of that of animal “drinking” water. Quickly looking out
the window he noticed a bizarre creature which he had difficulty describing because
of the darkness, he could only say that it looked like “a small kangaroo” and was
holding on to the edge of a vat of water with small curved forehands, upon noticing
the witness the creature executed a tremendous leap of about 4meters in height and
5meters in length it then took another leap and disappeared from sight.
