On Route 317 two police officers Jacques Belanger & Stephan Filiatrault
encountered a bizarre creature about 1.50m to 1.80m in height and about 50 meters
away from their vehicle. The figure had two long legs and two huge round
phosphorescent red eyes. As the two officers attempted to approach the creature, it
quickly disappeared into a nearby wood. It did not appear to touch the ground as it
moved.

Location. Near Masson, Quebec, Canada
Date: October 6 1990 Time: 1831
A witness in his vehicle traveling westbound on Route 148 on his was to a track meet
had just left the town of Thurso and was headed to Masson. His route took him
along the Ottawa River. He is accompanied by his wife, his children, and a 15-year
old boy. Traveling at about 95km the witness sees on his left at about 1500 feet
before him a strange object floating in the air at an altitude of approximately 50
feet. He honks his horn violently in order to attract the object’s attention, he is
apparently successful as the object suddenly stops moving. At first glance the
strange object appears to be a sort of balloon with two legs, “not normal” in
appearance, according to the witness. The object then moves in the opposite
direction on the south side of the road. When the vehicle arrives close to the object
the witness tries to maintain visual contact by using his mirror but is cannot. After
about 300 meters he turns around and sees the object, but this time the object has
moved to the north side of the road. The witness accelerates in order to catch up
with the object, and manages to keep up with it for about a mile. In the meantime
his passengers begin to ask what was happening. At this point the object has
dropped altitude and the occupants of the vehicle are fascinated with it but not
afraid. The witness keeps chasing after the object almost driving off the road at one
time. His wife begs him to stop before there is an accident. He disregards her
