Suggested assignments (set and assessed by independent tutors) may include empirical comparison of features in<br />

two simple applications, analytic evaluation of a novel interface, or an observational study in a software use context.<br />

Final grade is determined in a traditional written examination. However, students are also encouraged to use HCI<br />

methods to inform design and evaluation of their <strong>final</strong> year (capstone) project and dissertation.<br />
