The design. The décor. The setting. The service. Everything
about this place is spot on. Take the location, for instance.
Set on the coast in upmarket Costa Adeje, the hotel overlooks
the sea and offers up some pretty breathtaking views of the
ocean. Plus it’s just a couple of minutes’ stroll from a soft
sandy beach, making it a sun worshipper’s dream. But it’s not
just the setting that makes it stand out from the crowd - the
hotel itself is an absolute knockout. All pillars and porticoes,
the atrium resembles a majestic Roman temple. Surrounded
by gently swaying palms, this eye-popping centrepiece
overlooks an enormous swimming pool criss-crossed with little
bridges. Inside, it’s just as spectacular. We’re talking marble
floors, indoor palm trees and cathedral-like ceilings. Likewise,
the bedrooms are decked out in bright and airy colours which
put you firmly in the holiday mood. As to facilities, you
couldn’t ask for more. There’s tennis. There’s squash. There’s
even rifle shooting. The Guayarmina Princess pulls out all the
stops when it comes to mealtimes. From show cooking to
sumptuous buffets there are plenty of tasty dishes to choose
from. And there’s a fortnightly Canarian or South American
dinner, too. It’s fair to say that when it comes to glam holidays
in Tenerife, the Guayarmina Princess takes some beating.
