Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa ttttt
If a bit of pampering is order, this place is just the ticket. Offering
up 1600 square metres of luxury spa facilities, it goes all out to
impress. Take a dip in the tropical indoor pool, relax in the saunas
and hot tubs, or try out the machines in the state-of-the-art gym.
There are plenty of treatments to choose from, too, with everything
from body scrubs to Oriental head massages on the menu.
Another great thing about this place is the rooftop pool. It’s framed
by a spacious terrace, and comes with fantastic views. There’s an
open-air brasserie up here, too, where you can enjoy Mediterranean
dishes while looking out over Balluta Bay.
Elsewhere, the hotel’s main restaurant serves up huge buffets for
breakfast and dinner. For lighter bites, the lounge bar and coffee
house have a great selection of salads, sandwiches and pastries.
The hotel really looks the part, too. In the lobby, comfy sofas
are set between large pillars, while high ceilings cover polished
marble floors. In the bedrooms, things are really funky, with
brightly-coloured walls and patterned soft furnishings. In-room
extras come in the form of flatscreen TVs and air-conditioning,
while spacious balconies complete the set-up.
Last but not least, a word on location. The coast is less than a
ten-minute walk away, while the cafés, restaurants and shops of
St Julians are even closer.
