Majestic Colonial Punta Cana ttttt
The Majestic Colonial is grand. Take the lobby for example. It’s split
over two gleaming marble floors, with a sweeping staircase linking
the levels. Vaulted ceiling and chandeliers give a nod to the Spanish
colonial era. Then consider the bedrooms. Marble floors, a whirlpool
bath and a large walk-in shower are the first things you’ll notice. Inroom
extras include satellite TVs, bathrobes and slippers. Plus they
all have nice touches like a presence sensor that tells your maid
whether or not you’re in, so there’s no need for a ‘do not disturb’
sign. Plus a special room-service closet means dinner can be served
without you seeing a soul. The pool scene is equally impressive.
There’s only one pool here, but it’s so big it feels like there are
more. Snaking through the grounds right down to the beach, each
section has a different atmosphere. There’s an area for activities, a
swim-up bar and two integrated whirlpools for relaxation. On the
food front, you’re spoilt for choice, with seven restaurants tucked
around the grounds, ranging from an open-air steakhouse to an
Oriental eatery. The Supreme is the main dining venue, where you’ll
find a bumper buffet menu with on-the-spot cooking stations.
