Baobab Beach Resort ttttp
Sitting proudly on the shore of Diani Beach, the Baobab is
surrounded by forest, nodding palms and baobab trees - hence the
name. Decorated in an exotic African-style, the hotel has traditional
touches all over the place, like the Lamu beds in the lobby and
authentic art pieces. When it comes to entertainment, you get
something a little bit different here. Take a walk along the sundappled
paths of Baobab Nature Park, keeping your eyes peeled for
exotic birds and monkeys. Or try your hand at archery, shooting or
windsurfing. The evening entertainment is dubbed as the best to be
had in the Mombasa area. The jewel in the hotel’s crown, however,
is the Afya Bora Wellness Centre & Spa, with plenty in the way of
massages, beauty therapy, and all manner of wraps and peels.
And there’s a fully-equipped gym, too. Last, but by no means least,
is the food. The à la carte Marhaba has a seafood menu to die for,
while the buffet Karibu offers dishes from around the world.
