With an interior worthy of a top London address, six acres of<br />
landscaped gardens and a set of pools straight out of a magazine<br />
spread, the Minoa Palace Resort is the last word in style.<br />
It’s a chic-looking complex that wraps around pools, gardens and<br />
sundecks. Dotted with parasols and sunloungers, the four pools<br />
are woven together with little walkways and arched bridges. Plus<br />
there are two outdoor mosaic whirlpool tubs. Add a beach just a<br />
couple of minutes’ walk away and the scene is set.<br />
And the picture-perfect theme doesn’t stop there. Cue a huge<br />
marble lobby with an Art Deco-style stained glass roof. As for the<br />
rooms, they’re on the chic-side, too. Contemporary and spacious,<br />
they all come with marble bathrooms, a seated area and a<br />
balcony or terrace.<br />
Last but not least, there’s the range of restaurants and bars.<br />
<strong>The</strong>re are four eateries to choose from, serving buffet and à la<br />
carte meals in stylish surroundings. Cue crisp, white table linen,<br />
and a menu of Cretan, Greek and Italian dishes, plus themed<br />
buffets, too. As for the bars, there are three in all. <strong>The</strong> showstealer<br />
is the Thalos pool bar that comes complete with waterfalls.<br />
