“A fabulous beach and a good line-up of sports makes this hotel a great choice.”
This hotel has a fantastic spot, looking out over Monastir
beach. What’s more, it’s set a little on its own, five kilometres
from the centre, so you’ve got peace and quiet as well.
That said, it’s still easy to get out and about - regular local
buses run into Monastir and Sousse. The other thing to
consider is that you’re quite close to the airport, although the
noise causes little disturbance. The upside is that your transfer
is short and sweet. In terms of attractions, the pool comes in a
close second to the beach. It’s set in to terraces with palms,
sunbeds and parasols. Between here and the beach, there’s a
lawned garden with a restaurant serving up drinks and à la
carte lunches. There’s plenty going on sports-wise, too,
including tennis and a side-order of watersports on the sands.
The hotel has recently had a makeover so it looks and feels
fresh. The refurbished rooms are worth highlighting. They’ve
been touched with the minimalist brush, with satiny cushions,
sleek headboards and a pale colour palette.
One last thing - as well as the main buffet restaurant, there’s a
little Moorish café. With low-slung sofas and hanging lanterns,
it’s a perfect hideaway for quiet drinks or snacks.
