Tucked in to pine-cloaked mountains a kilometre from Hisaronu,
this property looks out over hills to the Med in the distance.
Its location is secluded, so it’s perfect if you’re looking for peace and
quiet. That said, there’s a courtesy bus and cabs to take you to
Olu Deniz. It’s the views that steal the spotlight here. For the best,
settle around the Dolphin pool - its terrace seems to dissolve into
the green backdrop. As far as looks go, the annexes are tiered into
the hillside, and they’re built using lots of pine in a nod to
traditional Turkish mountain architecture. On the food front, there’s
the main Pinewood restaurant, lined by an elevated terrace so you
can eat outdoors at breakfast and dinner. By the Marmara pool,
there’s La Turquoise, which specialises in rustic Turkish cuisine.
For pre-dinner drinks, the place to be is the Sunset Bar. It’s a great
spot for watching the sun set over the mountains.
