Florida State Science and Engineering Fair The Florida Foundation of Future Scientist (FFFS) annually hosts the State Science & Engineering Fair. Each Brevard Regional Fair is allocated 26 bids for State Fair Competition. The 28 First Place Regional Winners are evaluated for state fair competition by independent judging teams. Since each fair is limited to 26 State Fair Bids, not all first place winners will be invited to participate at the state fair. State Fair Rules Florida State Science and Engineering Fair uses the International Science and Engineering Fair Rules and Guidelines (See International Science Fair Rules). The Florida Foundation of Future Scientist (FFFS) is the governing body for ISEF in Florida. Additional State Fair Rules and Guidelines are updated yearly. Contact your Regional Fair Director for additional information. State Fair Forms � Intent to Participate Card - � State Verification Form – Student/school/project information, declaration of section and category, project type and electricity requirement, monies required, travel and participation commitment. Forms are available at www.floridassef.net � Student Medical Release Form for Out-of-County or Overnight Travel – Student /Parent/School District agreement for out of county/overnight travel. Form must be notarized. � State Registration/Photo Release Form – Student and project information, photo release information. � Protocol Forms – Student and project information. Adult Checklist Form, Form 1, Form 1A and Form 1B, additional forms depend on the nature of project. All forms are available in the International Science & Engineering Fair Rules & Guidelines section. � State Fair Abstract –Use only the designated forms from the form section or the Forms are available at www.floridassef.net. International Science and Engineering Fair Science Service annually hosts the International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF). This competition is offered to Senior Section only (Grades 9-12). Each Brevard Regional Fair is allocated 2 bids for International Science & Engineering Fair Competition. The two best of show award winners are selected by independent judges and receive invitations to compete at ISEF. International Fair Paperwork � International Fair Verification Form – Student/school information, request for ISEF paperwork, notification of family members that will travel with student, notification of ISEF award winners meeting. � Student Medical Release Form for Out-of-County or Overnight Travel – Student / Parent/School District agreement for out of county/overnight travel. Form must be notarized. � International Registration Form – Student biographical information, school information, declaration of category, project information.
