<strong>TAC</strong> PNEUMODULAR � Volume Booster/Pressure Selector<br />
Relays<br />
The volume booster relay is a proportioning device<br />
designed for use in pneumatic control systems where<br />
the application requires amplifying the volume of<br />
control air to final control devices. System<br />
transmission lag is minimized by using this relay in<br />
conjunction with a proportional controller operating<br />
several diaphragm valves or damper actuators. This<br />
device may also be used as a low pressure selector<br />
when the application requires the comparison,<br />
selection and transmission of the lower of two<br />
proportional input signals.<br />
The high pressure selector relay is a device designed<br />
for use in pneumatic control systems where the<br />
application requires the comparison, selection, and<br />
transmission of the higher of two proportional input<br />
signals.<br />
Features:<br />
• Both models have barbed fittings.<br />

• Two-input high pressure selector; no adjustments.<br />
• All ports clearly labeled.<br />
• Not for use with “restricted” signals (use R432-2).<br />
• <strong>TAC</strong> PNEUMODULAR: Mounts on MCS-Socket or K502<br />
Mounting Bracket. Due to light weight, may be mounted<br />
“in-line”, supported by tubing.<br />

• 1:1 booster relay with adjustable bias.<br />
• May be used as low pressure selector (using ports S-1 and M).<br />
• Using S-1 and S-2 inputs (and main air supply at M) may be<br />
used as summation (adding) relay.<br />
• All ports clearly labeled. Ports align with MCS-S terminals.<br />
• <strong>TAC</strong> PNEUMODULAR: Mounts on MCS-Socket or K502<br />
