Take It or Leave It--See Shove Them Along.<br />

Take Out--The number of chips a player starts with in table stakes.<br />

Take the Lead--To make a bet or raise.<br />

Talon--The remainder of the deck after the deal.<br />

Tap--To bet all one's money in table stakes.<br />

Tap City--A player having gone broke in a game.<br />

Tap Out--To bet and lose all one's cash, forcing one to leave the game.<br />

Tap You--(1) An expression for a player betting an amount equal to all the money his opponent has on<br />

the table in table stakes. (2) A raise.<br />

Technical Position--The strategic and psychological advantage of a player relative to the other players.<br />

Telephone Booth--A very loose player (Calling Station).<br />

Tells--Characteristics, habits, or actions of a player that give away his hand or intentions.<br />

Tennessee--Draw poker in which a bet is made after each round of cards is dealt.<br />

Tennessee Hold Me--See Hold 'em.<br />

Tens High--Poker in which no hand higher than a pair of tens can win.<br />

Ten Ten--High-low five-card stud with ten for low and a pair of tens for high as qualifiers. Usually<br />

played with two twists.<br />

Texas Hold 'em--See Hold 'em.<br />

Texas Special or Texas Tech--See Double-Barreled Shotgun.<br />

The Diamond--A measurement of the idealness of a poker game for the good player.<br />

Thirty Days or Thirty Miles-- Three tens.<br />
