Thirty Three--Six-card stud with threes wild.<br />

Three-<strong>Card</strong> Monte--A three-card game similar to Bragg.<br />

Three of a Kind--Three cards of the same value (Treys, Triplets, Trips).<br />

Three-Toed Pete--Three-card poker.<br />

Throat Shot--An expression for a player barely losing a big pot.<br />

Throw Off--To discard.<br />

Throw Up a Hand--To fold.<br />

Ticket--A card.<br />

Tie--Two hands of equal value. The pot is usually divided between tied hands that win.<br />

Tierce--A three-card straight flush.<br />

Tiger--A low hand from the two to the seven.<br />

Tight Player--A player who seldom bets unless he has a strong hand.<br />

Time Cut--Money charged each player on a time basis by a casino or poker club. Charge is usually on a<br />

3 minute or an hourly basis (Axe, Collection).<br />

Time Game--Poker game in which players are charged by the house, club, or casino a specified amount<br />

each hour or half hour for playing privileges.<br />

Toke--A tip, especially to a dealer in a gambling casino.<br />

Top--To beat an opponent.<br />

Tough Player--A superior poker player.<br />

Trey--A three.<br />

Tricon--Three of a kind.<br />
