The Calculations<br />

The 2 ways most often used to calculate the odds of hitting a<br />

runner-runner after the Flop are<br />

1. Calculate the number of 2-card combinations that<br />

WILL do the job and compare that to the total possible<br />

2-card combinations to find the number of 2card<br />

combinations that WILLNOT complete the<br />

hand.<br />

2. Multiply the probability of the first runner by the<br />

probability of the second runner and then convert<br />

that probability to odds.<br />

Both approaches are demonstrated below.<br />

For the combinations we need to know the Total Possible<br />

2-card combinations from the remaining 47 unseen cards —<br />

Comb(47, 2):<br />

(47 * 46) = 1,081<br />
