that any given player will receive certain hands as his first<br />

two cards. The calculations to determine these odds and<br />

probabilities are demonstrated below the table.<br />

Any Specific Pair (AA) .452% 220 : 1<br />

Pair of Jacks or Better 1.8% 54.25 : 1<br />

22 through TT 4.10% 23.6 : 1<br />

Suited Connectors 2.10% 46.4 : 1<br />

Suited Ace 3.62% 26.6 : 1<br />

Any 2 Suited 23.53% 3.25 : 1<br />

Any AK 1.2% 81.9 : 1<br />

AKs .30% 330.5 : 1<br />

2 Unpaired Big Cards 7.2% 12.8 : 1<br />

Any Ace 14.50% 5.9 : 1<br />

Rags 81% .23 : 1<br />

These odds and probabilities can be calculated at least two<br />

ways:<br />

1. Combinations — Knowing the total number of possible<br />

2-card combinations (1,326) and the number<br />
