recurrent, intrusive, inappropriate thoughts that cause marked distress

AND thoughts that are not simply excessive worries about real life problems
AND attempts to suppress or neutralize such thoughts with other thoughts
AND recognition that obsessive thoughts are a product of one’s own mind
OR Compulsions defined by: repetitive behaviors or mental acts one is
driven to perform
AND repetitive behaviors or mental acts to prevent distress or a dreaded situation
AND recognition that the obsessions and/or compulsions are excessive or unrealistic
AND symptoms cause marked distress
OR take more than one hour daily
OR significantly interfere with occupational or social activities
