Vážení vystavovatelia a návštevníci
veľtrhu IDEB 2012,
veľmi ma teší, že Vás opäť môžem
privítať na našom výstavisku pri príležitosti
konania Medzinárodného veľtrhu obrannej
techniky IDEB. Tak ako počas svojich predošlých
ročníkov aj tentoraz bude veľtrh miestom
zaujímavých obchodných stretnutí, ale aj demonštráciou
pripravenosti a zdatnosti našich
ozbrojených síl. Toto podujatie je výnimočné
i svojím medzinárodným charakterom – veľtrh
IDEB sa zaradil medzi rozhodujúce stredoeurópske
veľtrhy orientované na oblasť špeciálnej
techniky. V roku 2012, keď organizujeme
jeho 4. ročník, privítame v areáli Incheba Expo
Bratislava odborných vojenských profesionálov,
špecialistov a zástupcov obranných priemyslov,
ktorí pricestujú z dvadsiatky krajín sveta.
Procesu príprav sme venovali maximálnu pozornosť,
aby sa IDEB opäť stal platformou
úspešných obchodných rokovaní predstaviteľov
ozbrojených síl a zaujal odborníkov aj laickú
verejnosť, okrem iného dynamickými ukážkami
špeciálnej techniky a vojenských činností.
Dobrým predpokladom pre usporiadanie veľtrhu
podobného rozsahu a zamerania sú aj naše
mnohoročné skúsenosti. V posledných rokoch
sa naša spoločnosť spolupodieľala na organizovaní
niekoľkých výnimočných podujatí medzinárodnopolitického
charakteru. Referenciou, ktorú
si obzvlášť vážime, je neformálne stretnutie
ministrov obrany členských krajín NATO, ktoré
poctilo naše priestory v roku 2009. Preto ma
teší, že súčasťou programu veľtrhu IDEB sú
tohto roku Priemyselné dni NATO. Ich cieľom
je vzbudiť záujem podnikateľských subjektov
Slovenskej republiky, aby sa zúčastnili na verejných
obstarávaniach v rámci Severoatlantickej
aliancie.
Motto 4. ročníka veľtrhu IDEB „Moderné obranné
technológie, nové partnerstvá“ odráža
aktuálne ciele modernizácie Ozbrojených síl
SR. Verejnosť na mieste uvidí takmer 30 premiér
v oblastiach vojenskej pásovej i kolesovej
techniky, zbraňových systémov, munície, ako aj
komunikačnej techniky.
Z odborného programu považujem za potrebné
vyzdvihnúť Medzinárodnú konferenciu o vojenských
technológiách a špeciálnych technológiách
2012, organizovanú Trenčianskou univerzitou
Alexandra Dubčeka v Trenčíne. Ako som už
naznačil, veľtrh budú po celý čas sprevádzať aj
ukážky rôznych vojenských činností v exteriéri
a verím, že aj dynamická časť slávnostného
otvorenia bude zaujímavým divadlom nielen pre
pozvaných hostí, ale aj pre Bratislavčanov.

zážitkov, aby sa naplnili Vaše obchodné aj osobné

Dear Exhibitors and Visitors to
IDEB 2012 Trade Fair,
I am very pleased to welcome
you again on the premises of our exhibition
centre at the IDEB International Defence
Equipment Trade Fair. Just like in the past
years, even this year’s trade show will be a
venue for interesting business meetings, demonstrating
the readiness and professionalism
of our Armed Forces. The event is also unique
thanks to its international character – IDEB has
joined a series of influential Central European
trade fairs, which are geared towards specialized
equipment. In 2012, once the 4th edition
of the IDEB event gets underway at Incheba
Expo Bratislava, we will welcome military professionals,
specialists and defence industry representatives
from 20 countries.
We have devoted maximum attention to the
event’s preparation process, making sure that
IDEB will be a platform for successful business
meetings with Slovak military officials
and that it will be thoroughly interesting for
the lay public, thanks largely to its dynamic
displays of specialized equipment and military
demonstrations.
A solid prerequisite for holding a trade fair of
this size and specialization is our years-long
expertise and background in event planning
and organization. Over the past few years our
company has co-participated in hosting a series
of exceptional events of international political
prominence. The reference that we extremely
appreciate is associated with the informal meeting
of NATO Defence Ministers, which was a
great honour to host on our premises in 2009.
Therefore I am very pleased to see NATO’s
Industry Days listed in the IDEB programme.
These are designed to alert the attention of
business entities in the Slovak Republic to
public competitive biddings within the North
Atlantic Alliance.
The motto of the 4th IDEB Trade Fair – “Modern
Defence Technologies, New Partnerships” reflects
the actual modernization goals of the
SVK Armed Forces. The general public will be
able to see nearly 30 premiers in the field of
military tracked and wheeled vehicles, weapons
systems, ammunition, and communications
devices.
As part of the professional programme I would
like to highlight the International Conference
on Military Technologies and Specialized
Technologies 2012, organized by the Alexander
Dubček University in Trenčín. As I have already
hinted earlier, the trade fair will be accompanied
by a number of side events, including,
notably, different demonstrations of military
activities in the exterior display area, and I
hope that the dynamic performances at the
IDEB opening ceremony will be an interesting
show not only for invited guests but also for
Bratislava’s residents.
