3. Client Certificate Authentication may be set to Supported or Never. A client<br />

certificate is not required in order to establish an SSL connection between the<br />

client and <strong>WebSphere</strong>.<br />

4. Deselect Identity Assertion since this option is not required.<br />

5. Ensure there are no trusted servers listed.<br />

6. Select the Stateful checkbox; this provides a useful increase in performance<br />

due to the fact that the client only needs to authenticate once per session.<br />

7. Click OK.<br />
