Bear in mind that each SSL peer must support the same encryption<br />

method/cipher suite to be able to establish an encrypted session. The encryption<br />

methods supported by <strong>WebSphere</strong> are classified into three categories, high ,<br />

medium and low, and are configured via the <strong>Security</strong> level setting in the LDAP<br />

SSL Configuration window as shown in Figure 10-61 on page 333.<br />

The following steps will guide you through the basic configuration of <strong>WebSphere</strong><br />

We need to configure the keyring for SSL we previously created in “Creating the<br />

certificates for SSL” on page 328, using the Administrative Console for<br />

<strong>WebSphere</strong> Application Server V5.<br />
