Insulation disc FATB
The roofing membrane fixer with steel nail
ADVANTAGES
▪ The extensive range allows for the realisation
of large parts layer thicknesses
up to 275 mm for a wide range of
applications.
▪ The geometry of the expansion section
ensures a low anchorage depth
and reduces the amount of drilling
required.
▪ The simple hammerset installation
allows for a quick installation process
and thus reduces workload.
Pressure-resistant flat roof insulating materials
BUILDING MATERIALS
▪ Concrete
▪ Vertically perforated brick
▪ Perforated sand-lime brick
▪ Solid sand-lime brick
▪ Aerated concrete
▪ Solid brick
APPLICATIONS
▪ To fix pressure-resistant insulation
materials (e.g. Polystyrene,PU panels,
mineral wool,glass wool, foam glass
boards) and waterproof sheetings to
flat roofs.
FUNCTIONING
▪ Non-bearing layers, such as adhesive,
are to be included in the anchor‘s useful
length.
▪ The anchor is set in push-through
installation using a hammer.
▪ Use only impact drilling (not hammer
drilling) for concrete cassette panels.
▪ Use only rotary drilling for aerated
concrete.
▪ A 35mm deeper drill hole and anchorage
depth is needed in aerated concrete.
This is to be taken into account
when calculating useful length.
