2 • Vision and Goals
Bicycle-loan programs should be considered to provide
greater use and connectivity to surrounding area
Provide connections to local roads and nearby freeways/
high occupancy vehicle lanes.
Create a hub for Anaheim/OCTA Go Local transit
connections.
Establish a visual connection with the surrounding areas
by incorporating urban design elements that associate
the ARTIC Mixed-Use District with iconic elements
located in the vicinity.
Sustainability

Incorporate sustainable practices in site planning,
building and open space design to promote
environmental health.
Green walls
»
Encourage sustainable building certification such as
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
or Build It Green. Designs that meet or exceed a LEED
Silver level of certification are highly desirable.
