MARINE CORPS UNIFORM REGULATIONS<br />
2. Military police with operating forces will wear appropriate field<br />
equipment; however, they may wear the following additional items as the<br />
mission dictates:<br />
a. Brassard, MP standard, gold on scarlet<br />
b. Brassard, MP subdued, black on olive green<br />
c. Carrier, key or whistle, nylon, olive drab<br />
d. Carrier, side-handle baton, policeman's, nylon, olive drab, with black<br />
nylon ring<br />
e. Case, handcuffs, nylon, olive drab<br />
f. Handcuffs, conventional or hinged, blued<br />
g. Nightstick, side-handled, policeman's, fiberglass/plastic<br />
h. Whistle, ball, plastic, green<br />
3. Marines assigned to security force duty will wear as required the<br />
following items:<br />
a. Belt, military police, cotton webbing, white w/waist plate<br />
b. Carrier, nightstick, white, with slide for belt (alternate carriers<br />
are authorized to accommodate side-handle baton if necessary)<br />
c. Carrier, pistol holder, cotton webbing, white<br />
d. Gloves, cloth, white<br />
e. Holster, pistol, 9mm, hip or shoulder, leather, black<br />
f. Nametag, black with white letters, standard<br />
g. Nightstick/baton, standard or nightstick, side-handle, policeman's,<br />
fiberglass/plastic<br />
h. Pocket, ammunition magazine, webbing, white,<br />
i. Protector, holster, white<br />
j. Raincoat, yellow<br />
k. Whistle, ball, plastic, green<br />
4. Any items authorized for wear for military police/security force duties<br />
that are not available through the DoD Supply System are authorized for local<br />
purchase utilizing the command's Operation and Maintenance (O&M) funds.<br />
5. The standard U.S. Marine Corps Military Police Badge will be issued to<br />
Marines performing duties in an authorized MOS 58XX billet under the
