Accessory/Optional Uniform Items: All-Weather Coat (AWC) may be worn/prescribed for wear with all <strong>uniform</strong>s. Occasions for wear<br />
and liberty are the same as for the basic <strong>uniform</strong> with which it is worn. Black gloves always worn or carried with the AWC in<br />
winter. The tanker jacket may be worn with the blue dress "C"/"D," service "B"/"C," or blue dress and service with sweater. When<br />
worn, occasions for wear and leave/liberty are the same as for the basic <strong>uniform</strong> with which it is worn. The jacket will be worn<br />
zipped up to at least the top of the side slash pockets. Green wool scarf and black gloves may be worn with service or utility<br />
<strong>uniform</strong>s during the winter <strong>uniform</strong> period. The AWC and tanker jacket may be worn, without insignia, with civilian clothing.<br />
Organizational Equipment: Field jackets may be issued/prescribed for wear with utilities. Unless otherwise prescribed, the ECWCS<br />
parka may be worn with utilities at the individual’s option, or as designated when issued for wear. Sam Browne belts may be<br />
issued/prescribed to officers only for wear with blue dress "A"/"B," blue-white "A"/"B," and service "A." Service Belts may be<br />
issued/prescribed for wear with the service "B"/"C," blue dress "D" and AWC for officers and with the service <strong>uniform</strong>s and AWC<br />
for SNCO’s and NCO’s. Both belts are worn only for parades, ceremonies and reviews when the sword is prescribed, or at such<br />
times as are deemed appropriate by the local commander.<br />
