These directives are used to assign CPU and I/Oallocation for the resource groups APPS, REPORTS, MAINTENANCE, and OTHER_GROUPS. When the DAYTIME planis activated, its definition is sent to cellsrv on the storage cells. When cellsrv receives the resourceplan, it generates an Intradatabase IORM Plan, configures I/O queues for each consumer group, andbegins to manage I/O resources.Bringing It All TogetherAs discussed earlier, each of the three IORM management methods may be used individually or incombination. Let’s take a look at how all three methods work together to manage I/O.
