To run ApplyConfig, log in as root to the first compute node inyour system and run applyconfig.sh as follows:[root@exadb01 root]# cd /opt/oracle.SupportTools/firstconf[root@exadb01 firstconf]# ./applyconfig.sh half \/opt/oracle.SupportTools/onecommand/preconf.csvOnce the cell.conf files have been installed on all servers, ApplyConfig uses the dcli command torun the cleanup_n_reboot.sh script on all servers. As the name implies, this script performs cleanuptasks and reboots the servers. Once the servers complete the boot cycle, Exadata should be ready to beconfigured using OneCommand.Whether you choose to configure the Exadata network components manually, using Firstboot, or byrunning ApplyConfig, you should verify the network configuration once again before proceeding withthe installation process. Run the CheckIP post_applyconfig process to verify your configuration asfollows:# cd /opt/oracle.SupportTools/onecommand[root@exadb03 onecommand]# ./checkip.sh -m post_applyconfigExadata Database Machine Network Verification version 1.9Network verification mode post_applyconfig starting ...Saving output file from previous run as dbm.out_8385Using name server 192.168.10.19 found in dbm.dat for all DNS lookupsProcessing section DOMAIN : SUCCESSProcessing section NAME : SUCCESSProcessing section NTP : SUCCESSProcessing section GATEWAY : SUCCESSProcessing section SCAN : SUCCESSProcessing section COMPUTE : SUCCESSProcessing section CELL : SUCCESSProcessing section ILOM : SUCCESSProcessing section SWITCH : SUCCESSProcessing section VIP : SUCCESSProcessing section SMTP : SMTP "Email Server Settings" mail.ourcompany.com 25:0 SUCCESSAgain, the output from all tests must be SUCCESS before continuing with the installation. If errorsoccur, you can review the dbm.out file for the reason of the failure.Step 6: Staging the Installation MediaThe last step before running OneCommand is to make sure you have the necessary Oracle install mediaproperly staged on the first compute node.
