Thisnew wait event was added to account for time spent waiting on the optimized incremental backupprocessing that is offloaded to the storage cells.Event MeaningInterestingly, an Incremental Level 0 backup does not result in this wait event even though the word“incremental” is in the RMAN command. That is because the Level 0 backup doesn’t actually do anincremental backup at all. It generates a full backup that is flagged as a baseline for future incrementalbackups.
