phrase (e.g., the subjective dependent pronouns with a clause <strong>in</strong>itial clitic host), but, with<br />

the exception of the subjective dependent pronouns, the Internal Clitics attach as enclitics.<br />

In contrast, Affixal Clitics (e.g., the possessive clitic <strong>and</strong> the modifier <strong>and</strong> locative clitics)<br />

<strong>and</strong> PWd Clitics (e.g., the clause <strong>in</strong>itial clitics <strong>and</strong> the subjective dependent pronouns<br />

with a lexical word host) are located either at the left edge, to the left of the head or with<br />

respect of the left-most element of the syntactic doma<strong>in</strong>, but they all attach to the right as<br />

proclitics. 15<br />
