Stimulus Presentation63STP100WStimulus Presentation System(SuperLab)NEWThe STP100W is a stand-alone system that measuressubject responses to visual or auditory stimuli. It can presentvisual stimuli on a computer screen, or auditory stimulivia headphones or speakers, and simultaneously (1msresolution) send trigger signals to an MP System for datasynchronization and collection purposes. The STP100Wincludes a six-pushbutton response box for performingaccurate (1 ms resolution) reaction time measurements.For measuring physiological responses to stimuli, theSTP100W includes an optically isolated interface,permitting up to eight synchronization signals (input oroutput) between the STP100W and the MP System.The SuperLab software can be used to change theplacement of visual stimuli on the screen, change thescreen’s background color, choose from a variety of inputand timing options, and provide feedback to subjects based on either response or reaction time. Different trigger channels can be paired todifferent visual or auditory stimuli to perform sophisticated evoked response averaging tests (e.g. P300).NOTE: Second PC required— The synchronization signal(s) coming from the STP100W can be directed to an MP System running on aMacintosh or PC, but it’s not possible to run the STP100W on the same computer as the MP System. The STP100 interface connectsbetween the SuperLab Digital I/O card and the UIM100C module.The STP100 module can also be used to connect digital signals (TTL compatible) from any mainspowered external equipment to the MP System when the system also connects to electrodes attachedto humans. The STP100 provides 8 lines for digital data inputs and 8 lines for digital data outputs. Alllines are optically isolated to 1500 VDC compliance. The STP100 module comes equipped with a3-meter ribbon cable (37 pin F/F) for easy system interfacing.• STP100(if purchased separately)
