The NIBP100A is anaccurate, continual, and noninvasive solution to blood pressure monitoring.Using a patented method of measuring radial artery waveforms, the NIBP100A systemcalculates accurate systolic, diastolic, and mean pressures. The data is processed by aproprietary algorithm based on a set of coefficients derived from clinical data.No complicated setup or calibration requirements!The NIBP100A is easy to use. The pressure sensor in the NIBP100A applies variablepressure directly above the radial artery and the initial measurement and waveform aredisplayed within 15 heartbeats. The display is continually updated every 10-15 heartbeats.Subjects experience minimal sensation while wearing the wrist sensor. The wrist sensorfits adults or children (22-11 cm), can be worn on either wrist, and is completelylatex-free.
