C h a p t e r 5 – R e f e r e n c ePause Switch An open jumper or wired switch will pause all wateringon the controller.A CLR will not reset the pause condition until thejumper or switch has closed the circuit, then CLR willreset the pause condition before the delay time haselapsed.Automatically cleared at end of delay time.Rain Switch An open jumper or wired rain sensor that is wet (open)will stop all watering, and will stop all programs fromstarting.A CLR will not reset the pause condition until thejumper or rain sensor has closed (dried out).Automatically cleared by switch or rain sensor closure.Rain/OFF days Setting a rain/off value for the number of days will stopall watering for that period of time.A CLR will reset the delay days to zero, clearing thepause condition.Automatically cleared when delay days are over.Water Window A water window (white squares) will pause a program.A CLR will not reset the water window pause condition– you must wait or change the water windowprogramming.Automatically cleared when the water window expires(time advances to a blue square).Press the NEXT key to move to the next status screen.Message Screen – this screen lists themessages that have been caused byalerts and other events which arenotified to the user. This screen canbe seen only when there is an activemessage (see the example to theright). If there are multiple messages,they can be viewed individually bypressing the + key to advancethrough the list. Note the details ofthe message as well as suggestions tocorrect the issue and the time anddate of the alert – this reflects when this alert first happened. The CLR key can bepressed to clear the message once it has been read and the appropriate action hasbeen taken. There are dozens of possible messages. Referto the sample screen to the right for the followingfield functions. Press ENTR to quickly move to the next zone. Zone – when highlighted use the + and – keys to change the zone number to beprogrammed. Enabled – use this to enable a zone for normal operation. A single zone can bedisabled to keep it from running during maintenance or other conditions. Zone Mode – there are three modes for zones in the BaseStation 3200Timed This is the default for newly assigned zones and in this mode itcan be programmed and will water in an independent manner(like other clocks).Page 59Baseline 3200
