C h a p t e r 5 – R e f e r e n c eManual WaterThis dial position provides a way to run a singlezone, the zones of a program, or all zones for aspecific amount of time. It is most often used for a system test or walk-around.The first menu item is used to set the operation for zones or programs. With the first fieldhighlighted, use the + or – key to toggle between Zones or zones of a program mode. Thefollowing values will control the watering behavior:Zone run time = the time that each zone will run (water). It can be set from 5 secondsto 6 hours. This is the time that each zone will run if multiple zones are specified.First zone delay = this is the time from when the dial is turned to the Auto/Runposition to when the first zone will actually start to water. This provides time to walkto the first zone to observe its behavior from start to finish. This time can be set from0 seconds to 10 minutes.Between Zone Delay = this is the delay time from one zone completing its run timeuntil the next zone is turned on. This time can be set from 0 seconds to 10 minutes.Manually Run Zone(s)With this mode selected in the first field, the second field or box is used to select the zone to run.Highlight this box by pressing the NEXT key one time (OFF is now highlighted). Here are theoptions for this field:Press the – key once to select ALL. This will run all of the zones in the controller insequential order.Press the + key to select the desired zone number. This will run a single zone.Use the + key to increment to the desired zone. Once the zone or all zones and times are set,turn the dial to Auto/Run to start the manual run operation.Run Zones of ProgramWith this mode selected in the first field, the second field or box is used to select the program torun. Highlight this box by pressing the NEXT key one time (OFF is now highlighted). Pressing the+ and – keys will scroll through the programs.Once the desired program is selected, and the times have been set.
