Saving Recorded Songs and Handling the Files...[FILE]<br />
Saving recorded or other songs to floppy<br />
disk...[SaveToDisk] (<strong>CLP</strong>-<strong>170</strong>)<br />
Songs you record, memory songs, or recordings you added or recorded over (page 43) previously-recorded<br />
memory songs can be saved on a floppy disk.<br />

See page 47 for basic operation information. The following is a detailed procedure<br />
of Step 4.<br />
4. Make sure that a formatted floppy disk (page 53) is<br />
inserted in the disk drive.<br />
Follow the steps for the [SaveToMemory] operation (see page 48) to<br />
name and save the song.<br />
The song is automatically numbered as “D—,” where “D” means<br />
“Disk” and “—” is a number.<br />

The song data is saved in<br />
the SMF format (format 0).<br />
Therefore, you can play the<br />
disk on instruments that<br />
support the SMF format.<br />

To specify a folder on the<br />
disk as the save location ...<br />
When the “Sure?->” display<br />
appears, press either C [–][+]<br />
to display the folder. Use C<br />
[–][+] to select the folder.<br />
You can use D [+] to enter a<br />
folder. Press D [–] to return<br />
to the previous (higher)<br />
level.<br />
CAUTION<br />
Do not turn off the power or<br />
eject the floppy disk while<br />
the screen displays “Executing.”<br />
