You attempted to eject a floppy disk from the disk drive while the<br />

drive was writing or reading. The writing or reading operation is not<br />

complete yet. Try it again.<br />

When you attempted to rename a song and save it in “RenameSong”<br />

(page 51), this message will appear if an identically-named song<br />

already exists in the save memory / floppy disk that contains that<br />

song. Three seconds after this message is displayed, you will return<br />

to the previous screen. Please specify a different name.<br />

This message prompts you to execute a file-related operation. Press<br />

the B [+ (YES)] button to proceed, or press the [EXIT] button to<br />

cancel.<br />

The Clavinova is processing the data internally. Wait until the message<br />

disappears, then proceed to the next step.<br />

The normal (factory default) settings (except for the memory song<br />

The driver or MIDI application on your computer is not functioning correctly,<br />

perhaps because the computer is turned off, the cable is not connected<br />

correctly, or the HOST SELECT switch is not set correctly. In this<br />

case, turn off the power of the <strong>CLP</strong>-<strong>170</strong>/<strong>150</strong> and your computer, and check<br />

the cable connections and HOST SELECT switch setting. Then turn on the<br />

power in the order of your computer → <strong>CLP</strong>-<strong>170</strong>/<strong>150</strong>, and check that the<br />

driver and MIDI application on your computer are functioning correctly.<br />

When using the <strong>CLP</strong>-<strong>170</strong>/<strong>150</strong> by itself ...<br />

This message may appear if a cable is left connected to the [TO HOST] or<br />

[USB] connector of the <strong>CLP</strong>-<strong>170</strong>/<strong>150</strong>. In this case, turn off the power of the<br />

<strong>CLP</strong>-<strong>170</strong>/<strong>150</strong>, disconnect the cable, and then turn on the power again. If the<br />

cable is left connected, the <strong>CLP</strong>-<strong>170</strong>/<strong>150</strong> may not function correctly.<br />
