Assign the SONG [START/<br />

STOP] function to the pedal<br />

[PedalStart/Stop]<br />

TIP<br />

If you assign the SONG START/STOP function to a<br />

pedal and turn the function On, the pedal function<br />

assigned to the pedal in the Voice Setting menu (pages<br />

83 and 84) is disabled.<br />

Here you can specify the point to which you must<br />

depress the pedal (right, center, left, AUX) before the<br />

assigned effect begins to be applied. (This setting<br />

applies to effects that can be assigned to each pedal,<br />

such as damper or sostenuto (page 83). Expression is<br />

not affected by this setting.)<br />

If the effect is an on/off type effect, this setting<br />

specifies the point at which the effect will be<br />

switched on/off.<br />

(effective with the deepest press)<br />

Pitch bend range<br />

[PitchBendRange]<br />

This specifies the amount of change that can be<br />

produced by the pitch bend function which<br />

smoothly varies the pitch.<br />

• This setting applies only to the manually-played<br />

sound.<br />

• This setting can be made in semitone steps.<br />

• You can set the pedal function (page 83) to specify<br />

whether the pitch will be raised or lowered.<br />
