The recorder is used openly that allows getting the best recordingquality.We recommend using a digital voice recorder with the function of transferringaudio files to a computer via a digital output. Using other recordingdevices is not permitted. The interview with one respondent is recorded intoone file without interruption. The sound files are recorded on CD-R or DVD-Rand delivered to the supervisor on disk; if there is no such technical possibility,the interviewer temporarily passes the recorder with recordings over to thesupervisor.Another essential component of the report is the transcribed text of theinterview. The interviewer is responsible for the transcript. The transcripts arepassed in the form of files; one interview per one file; it is recommended towrite text files on the single disc with the sound. Each interviewer can provideher/his observations and comments on the whole study in an arbitrary form,which will be taken into account by the supervisor.• Total time of the interviewThe duration of the interview according to customer’s requirements andtypical research methodology will make 60 minutes. It is recommended to reduceor stop the interview, when its continuation could adversely affect thepsyche of the interviewee; in particular, obvious post-traumatic condition,neurotic or psychotic behavior may come to pass.The reasons why the interview was slightly reduced shall be added to transcripts,including your observations of nonverbal nature.
