BarrowONS Population Estimate 2007: 1,508Position in <strong>Core</strong> <strong>St</strong>rategy Settlement Hierarchy: Key Service CentreBarrow has a reasonable network of existing infrastructure for a Key ServiceCentre of its size. Particularly it is well served currently for allotments and amenityopen space. Currently there is existing capacity within the primary school,although with any potential housing growth this excess will be quickly taken up.New provision and improvement of existing provision of required infrastructuresuch as nature reserves, outdoor sports facilities, playgrounds and key localservices will all need to be considered.
