Total nos. ofteachers trained on CAL was only 200 ( 80 nos. in 2006-07 and 120nos. during 2007-08) while no teachers were trained in CAL during2005-06. In absence of any trained teacher in CAL how the studentswere imparted training in CAL during 2005-06 was not recorded. Asreported ,out of 4,63,108 nos. of student enrolled in Ups only 32449(Average) nos. of students constituting only 7 per cent were coveredunder CAL.
