Brice Koch was appointed Executive Committee memberresponsible for the Power Systems division in March <strong>2012</strong>.From January 2010 to March <strong>2012</strong>, Mr. Koch was ExecutiveCommittee member responsible for Marketing and CustomerSolutions. From 2007 to 2009 he was the Manager of <strong>ABB</strong>in China and of <strong>ABB</strong>’s North Asia Region. Between 1994and 2006, he held several management positions with <strong>ABB</strong>.He is also member of the board of directors of Rector S.A.(France) and ETH Zurich Foundation (Switzerland). Mr. Kochwas born in 1964 and is a French citizen.Ulrich Spiesshofer was appointed Executive Committeemember responsible for the Discrete Automation andMotion division in January 2010. He joined <strong>ABB</strong> in November2005 as Executive Committee member responsible for CorporateDevelopment. From 2002 until he joined <strong>ABB</strong>, he wassenior partner, global head of operations practice at RolandBerger AG (Switzerland). Prior to 2002, he held various positionswith A.T. Kearney Ltd. and its affiliates. Mr. Spiesshoferwas born in 1964 and is a German citizen.Tarak Mehta was appointed Executive Committeemember responsible for the Low Voltage Products divisionin October 2010. From 2007 to 2010, he was head of theTransformers business. Between 1998 and 2006, he heldseveral management positions with <strong>ABB</strong>. Mr. Mehta wasborn in 1966 and is a U.S. citizen.Veli-Matti Reinikkala was appointed Executive Committeemember responsible for the Process Automationdivision in January 2006. He is a member of the board ofdirectors of UPM-Kymmene (Finland). In 2005, he was thehead of the Process Automation business area. From 1993to 2005, he held several positions with <strong>ABB</strong>. Mr. Reinikkalawas born in 1957 and is a Finnish citizen.In addition, as of February 1, 2013, Michel Demaréstepped down as <strong>ABB</strong>’s Chief Financial Officer and memberof the Executive Committee and Eric Elzvik has succeededhim as Chief Financial Officer and member of the ExecutiveCommittee. From 2010 to 2013, Mr. Elzvik was the ChiefFinancial Officer of <strong>ABB</strong>’s Discrete Automation and Motiondivision. Mr. Elzvik joined <strong>ABB</strong> in 1984 and has held a varietyof other leadership roles in Sweden, Singapore and Switzerland,including head of Corporate Development, and head ofMergers & Acquisitions and New Ventures.
