SPECTRUM SCOPE MONITORIf you assign the Spectrum Scope Monitor feature to thekey (see page 40), you may view operating activityon channels above and below the current operating channelwhile operating in the VFO, Memory Tune, and PMSmodes.The display indicates the relative signal strength on channelsimmediately adjacent to the current operating frequency. Set the radio to the VFO mode by pressing thekey, if necessary. Press (or press and holdin) the key to activatethe Spectrum ScopeMonitor.Once the Spectrum Scope Monitor is activated, pressthe key to change the visible bandwidth between±15 channels and ±30 channels (default: ±30 channels).The visible bandwidth, however, depends on theselected channel step size, so match the channel stepto those typically used in your area.To turn the Spectrum Scope Monitor off and operateon the centered (and displayed) channel, simply pressthe PTT switch.Note 1: Audio output will be interrupted during SpectrumAnalyzer operation.
