PNEUMATIC PRESSURE STANDARDS AND LO PRESS GAGES - Require dry nitrogen source to use.l. BATTERIES - Remove from equipment prior to storage. See <strong>TO</strong> 33-1-5 for further guidance.3.4.7 Contingency Equipment Exception (CEE) TMDE Calibration Intervals. TMDE that is not used regularly may beplaced in storage prior to use after calibration. For scheduling purposes, the calibration interval of CEE TMDE shall be18 months. CEE TMDE shall be calibrated prior to being stored. An AF<strong>TO</strong> Form 99/108/394/398 Certification Labelshall be attached in accordance with Section 5. Calibration intervals for CEE TMDE do not start until they are removedfrom storage. Once removed from storage, the CEE TMDE shall revert to the normal interval as detailed in the applicableCMS or <strong>TO</strong> 33K-1-1<strong>00</strong>-2. CEE TMDE assets that are calibrated as part of an end-item (e.g., a system calibration) thatare NOT installed back into the same end-item they were originally calibrated in, shall be re-calibrated at the time ofinstallation to establish system integrity. See WRM paragraph 3.4.6.1 for items that cannot be stored as CEE TMDE(same list as for WRM), or require special precautions. Note: CEE TMDE may be identified with WRM status in thePMEL MIS with a remark of CEE added to the entry if the PMEL MIS does not accommodate CEE entries.3.4.8 Special Purpose Recoverable Authorized Maintenance Set (SPRAMS). Spare Tester Replaceable Units (TRUs)stored in SPRAMS require a DD Form 1574 Serviceable Label and an AF<strong>TO</strong> Form 99/108/394/398 Certification Labelattached in accordance with Section 5. For scheduling purposes, the calibration interval of TRUs in SPRAMS shall be 18months. TRUs to be placed in SPRAMS shall be calibrated prior to being stored. Calibration intervals for TMDE inSPRAMS do not start until they are removed from storage. Once removed from storage, the TRU shall revert to thenormal interval. SPRAMS assets that are calibrated as part of an end-item (e.g., a system calibration) that are NOTinstalled back into the same end-item they were originally calibrated in, shall be re-calibrated at the time of installation toestablish system integrity.3.4.9 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) TMDE Interval Adjustments. FMS TMDE calibration dates may be adjustedin the following manners:a. AFMETCAL may delay the start of (post date) calibration intervals for FMS items (except for those itemsspecified by Metrology engineers) being assembled to meet foreign country PMEL activation dates to agree withthe activation date or other milestones.b. FMS customers may adjust calibration intervals if shipping time to country is in excess of fifteen days. Thefollowing rules apply:(1) Receipt in-country must be recorded and filed.(2) The number of shipping days consumed will advance calibration Due Dates when:(a)Interval is equal to or less than 90 days. May be adjusted up to 45 days.(b) Interval is more than 90 days. May be adjusted up to 60 days.(c)No interval may be adjusted by more than 60 days.3-10
