7.4 First diagnosis7.4.1 Warning LED (m) on the <strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Controller</strong>When an UP or DOWN command is given and the warning LED flashes red (m excess current), the following points must be checked:• Short circuit on the motor output or at least a wire is not connected.• Encoder wire (purple) is connected incorrectly on the motor output (e.g. M1 connector 1 or 2).• A <strong>DCE</strong> motor is connected, the <strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Controller</strong> is however in the DC mode.• A DC motor is connected, the <strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Controller</strong> is however in the <strong>DCE</strong> mode.In the mode selection <strong>DCE</strong>:When an UP or DOWN command is given and the warning LED flashes yellow (m regulator error), the set speed concerning the size ofthe Venetian blinds is too high.
