WAYS OF GIVING 53IN-KIND DONATIONS, including musical instruments, instructionalsupplies, classroom and office equipment and pro-bono services, canenrich the educational experience and advance the School’s capacity toserve its students. Third Street recommends that you speak to anindependent financial or legal advisor regarding the tax deductibility ofin-kind contributions. Instrument donations help students whose familiescannot afford them and can also provide replacement parts that strengthenthe School’s instrument inventory available for loan or rental to students. Inthe case of pianos, a written profile and physical assessment are requiredbefore a donation can be accepted.
