Repertoire includes lullabies,bounces, rhymes, echoes and imaginative activities. Students play simplepercussion instruments and incorporate music with movement. Foundationsare formed for beat awareness, vocal production and aural discrimination.MUSIKGARTEN: CYCLE OF SEASONS(Ages 3 to 5 with parent/caregiver)Cycle of Seasons promotes musical as well as overall development andincludes singing, rhythm, beat activities, movement exploration, listening,creating, playing instruments and listening to poems and stories. Musicalconcepts such as rhythmic and melodic patterns, tempo, dynamics andtimbre are introduced and explored. Children sing along to memorable songs, playinstruments and dance to the sound of lively beats. A CD with class songsis given to all participants.
