USAID Special Awards Committee.5. Administrator.Recognition1. Framed certificate signed by the Administrator.2. $1,000 cash award *3. Presentation of the certificate during the annual awards ceremony.Other InformationNominations are judged on how fully a candidate meets the following criteria:1. Uses innovative programming, cutting-edge research, or development or moreappropriate technologies to design or implement programs that have a significantimpact on the health or welfare of women and children.2. Establishes a consensus or reconciliation of differences between individuals andorganizations with competing interests.3. Demonstrates extraordinary imagination, cultural sensitivity, compassion, and/oroutstanding professional skills to achieve results.37*OMB Memorandum 13-05 directs the suspension of discretionary monetary awards while sequestrationis in place. Beginning March 8, 2013 USAID will not issue monetary awards until otherwise directed.
