Warrawee Substation - Review of Environmental Factors

The proposalSite clean-up (Scenario J) – Involves the removal of all activities not requiredduring the operation of the substation. This would primarily be the removal of theconstruction compound.Plant and equipment to be used during each stage is outlined in the section below.Site compoundThe site compound is to be positioned within the rail corridor to the north of thesubstation site. The site would be along the existing access track which runs betweenBrentwood Avenue and Hastings Road. The compound would contain site offices andstockpiling areas. Site offices and stockpile areas would generally be positioned alongthe eastern fence line of the corridor. These areas currently contain trees, howeverscheduled RailCorp maintenance requires these trees to be removed.
