Do not glue paper or put stickers onto the disc, or use apencil, ball-point pen or other sharp-tipped writinginstrument. These could all damage the disc. Storing discsAlways store discs in their cases, and place the casesvertically, avoiding places exposed to high temperature orhumidity, direct sunlight or extremely low temperatures.Be sure to read the cautions included with the disc. Cleaning discsIt may not be possible to play the disc if there arefingerprints or dust on it. In this case, using a cleaningcloth, etc., to wipe the disc gently from the center towardthe outer edge. Do not use a dirty cleaning cloth.Do not use benzene, thinner or other volatile chemicals.Also do not use record spray or antistatic agents.For tough dirt, apply some water to a soft cloth, wring outthoroughly, wipe off the dirt, then wipe off the moisturewith a dry cloth. Specially shaped discsSpecially shaped discs (heart-shaped, hexagonal, etc.)cannot be used on this player. Never use such discs, asthey will damage the player. Condensation on discsIf the disc is moved suddenly from a cold place into awarm room (in winter, for example), water droplets(condensation) may form on the disc surface.
