KURO LINK07Problem Check RemedyKURO LINK function doesnot work.The input does not switchautomatically on the FlatPanel TV and AV system (AVreceiver or amplifier, etc.)when playback is started onthe player or the Home Menuor Home Media Gallery isdisplayed.Is the HDMI cable properlyconnected?Is the HDMI cable you areusing a High Speed HDMIcable?Are you connected to the TVusing an HDMI cable towatch the picture?Is KURO LINK set to On onthe player?Does the connected devicesupport the KURO LINKfunction?Is KURO LINK set to On onthe connected device?Are multiple playersconnected?Is Display Power On set toOff on the player?To use the KURO LINK function, connect the Flat Panel TV and AVsystem (AV receiver or amplifier, etc.) to the HDMI OUT terminal(page 16).Use a High Speed HDMI cable. The KURO LINK function may notwork properly if HDMI cable other than a High Speed HDMI cable isused.If video signals are being output from a terminal other than the HDMIOUT terminal, the KURO LINK function does not work. Connect to theTV using an HDMI cable and press VIDEO SELECT to switch to theHDMI OUT terminal (pages 16 and 22).Set KURO LINK to On on the player (page 39).• The KURO LINK function will not work with devices of other brandsthat do not support the KURO LINK function, even when connectedusing an HDMI cable.• The KURO LINK function will not work if devices that do not supportthe KURO LINK function are connected between the KURO LINKcompatibledevice and the player.• See About connections to components of other makes supporting theKURO LINK function on page 16.• Even when connected to a <strong>Pioneer</strong> product compatible with theKURO LINK function, some of the functions may not work.Also refer to the operating instructions of the connected device.Set KURO LINK to On on the connected device. The KURO LINKfunction operates when KURO LINK is set to On for all devicesconnected to the HDMI OUT terminal.Once connections and settings of all the devices are finished, be sureto check that the player’s picture is output to the Flat Panel TV. (Alsocheck after changing the connected devices and connecting and/ordisconnecting HDMI cables.) If the player’s picture is not being outputto the Flat Panel TV, the KURO LINK function may not work properly.For details, refer to the operating instructions of the connected device.The KURO LINK function may not work if three or more players,including this player, are connected by HDMI cable.Set Display Power On to On (page 39).NetworkProblem Check Remedy• BD-LIVE function(connection to the Internet)cannot be used.• “Connection to the softwareupdating server failed” isdisplayed when you try toupdate the software.“OK to grant network accessto BD applications?” isdisplayed when a BD-LIVEcompatible disc is read.Perform Connection Test (page 44).
