Illuminated Visor Vanity MirrorTo block out glare, swing down the visors. Each sunvisor can be removed from the center mount and movedto the side, while the auxiliary sun visor remains toblock glare from the front.To extend the visor at the sides, pull out thesunshade extension.When you open-this visor vanity mirror by pulling up,the lamps turn on. \ 'The brightness of the lamps can be adjusted by slidingthe switch. The Park Avenue Ultra also has visor vanitymirrors for the rear seat passengers.
Rear License Plate HolderTo use the rear license plate holder, open the trunk lidand slide your license plate into the slot. Always closethe trunk to prevent theft of the plate.Astroroof (Option)If you have theexpress-open astroroofoption, the switch is on theroof between the sun visors.It will open the astroroofwhen in retained accessorypower or when the ignitionis on.To open the glass panel and sunshade, press the switchrearward and release. The astroroof will openautomatically to the full open position. To stop the panelin a partially open position, press the switch again at thedesired point. To continue to open fully, press the switchrearward again and release. The sunshade can also beopened manually.To close the glass panel, press and hold the switchforward. The sunshade must be manually closed.Once the astroroof is closed, it can be opened to a ventposition. Press the switch forward to vent. To close,press the switch rearward. The sunshade must be openedand closed manually for vent operation.Assist HandlesA folding handle over each rear door and the frontpassenger’s door can be used to help you get in or outof your Buick.2-63
